What changed
v5 — Learning-first
Search on top. Characters + search + the wall sit right under the smart card — finding a story is the primary action. The grid caps at 12 while browsing ("Show all" expands) so the learning sections stay reachable.
Right Now smart card replaces New/David/Bedtime banners — ONE slot that follows the clock (morning story · afternoon quiz · evening wind-down · event days). Use the dashed demo chips to flip states.
Learn the Bible = story of the week in 4 steps: Listen → Quiz → Memory Verse → Activities. Every step already exists in the catalog (68/70 quiz audios, takeaways, script + find-the-words + color-along PDFs). Finish all 4 → the story's sticker.
Memory verse strip on the card — scripture itself, front and center, changes weekly with the story.
Characters row = kid search. Kids ask by character, not by season. Tapping filters the wall (try it).
Quiet Time folded into Bedtime — 4 tracks reads as curated there, thin as its own shelf.
Shorter page: smart card + learn + characters + continue + bedtime + wall. Collections live as chips on the wall instead of their own shelf.
The 7 moves
Seasons gone from nav. Kept as metadata only — nobody shops by production batch.
Keep Listening first. Parents at moment-of-need execute, they don't browse.
New This Week replaces the season banner — every release is a drop or an event.
David = an event, not a season. Progress checks, locked Part 2 "Friday" = the return trigger. Dissolves into a collection when Part 3 ships.
Bedtime band (per UX synthesis): ritual framing, durations, one-tap Play Bedtime. Sleep + Calm are the REAL tracks from Strapi.
Quiet Time shelf — "how are you feeling?" The old Pray & Meditate tabs both serve the SAME 4 tracks (Joy, Anger & Forgiveness, Calm, Sleep — "GuidedLights" meditations by feeling). Not distinct → ONE Quiet Time pill, framed by feeling. Only 4 tracks = the content gap to fill.
Quiz = a play mode, not content. 68 of 70 stories have a with-quiz audio variant — surfaced as Play / With-quiz buttons on the card, not as separate catalog entries.
Collections = the new marketing drumbeat (Psalms first) — themes & characters, the audience's language.
The wall is the search. Kids search by picture, parents by name/theme; chips filter Stories / Quiet Time. 70 stories + 4 quiet-time tracks visible = abundance.
